As a product developer you are responsible for researching and developing new, innovative chemical fluids used in a broad array of industries and in different applications.

You will not just be working in the laboratory. You will also join client meetings to get a good unterstanding of their wishes and desired specifications and will provide input regarding the feasibility. Subsequently, you will plan and execute the project.

This is a position in an experienced team, where you will be working on your own projects and products to develop, making you responsible from beginning to the end for the whole development cycle. Apart from developing new products, you will be working on optimization of existing formulations by researching the posibility to replace some of the raw products for greener or cost reductive alternatives.

Wie zoeken we?

For this position we are looking for an R&D product developer with the following background:

  • HLO (BASc) or MSc background in organic chemistry, katalysis, inorganic chemistry or similar. (Candidates with a PhD degree are not considered for this position). 
  • A thorough understanding of chemical fluids
  • Experience in product development
  • Multiple years of experience in an industrial setting
  • Good communication skills
  • Problem solver and focused on results
  • Command of the Dutch language is a plus but not mandatory; fluency in English is
  • Eligible to work in The Netherlands and living within a 1 hour commute of Rotterdam
